“風格“さえ感じさせるその姿に、養鯉場を始めて50年余り 私共自身がなによりも魅せられて参りました。

錦鯉発祥の地、新潟県小千谷市の山の池で育つ「生きる芸術品」は 自然と人とのかかわりから生み出されます。
それゆえの命の儚さ、うつろいにこそ錦鯉の醍醐味があり豊かさがあると感じています。

先人の智慧に敬意を表し、血統を大切にしながらも

KOI swim gracefully and slowly, drawing beautiful lines on the surface of the water.
For more than 50 years since we started our Koi farm, we have been more than fascinated by the “dignified” appearance of KOI.

The “living works of art” raised in mountain ponds in Ojiya City, Niigata Prefecture, the birthplace of KOI, are the result of the relationship between nature and people. I feel that the transience and trnsition of life is the real appeal and richness of KOI.

We respect the wisdom of our predecessors and aim for innovative heights while cherishing our lineage.
We will never be satisfied with the ultimate point….

We produce mainly Showa Sanshoku and Kohaku. The beauty of the black pattern of the Showa Sanshoku is especially highly evaluated.

History 創業ヒストリー

受け継がれる血統

1970年、初代 伊佐 先により、錦鯉発祥の地、新潟県小千谷市にて創業。現在は二代目の伊佐 光徳へと事業を引き継ぎました。錦鯉御三家と呼ばれる、昭和三色、大正三色、紅白を中心に生産してきた実績を持ち、数々の大会受賞歴を有しています。現在では昭和三色と紅白を中心に生産しており、なかでも昭和三色の「墨」と呼ばれる黒色の模様の美しさに定評があり「伊佐昭和」と呼ば れる程の高い評価を得ています。

The company was founded in 1970 by Satoru Isa, the first generation, in Ojiya City, Niigata Prefecture, the birthplace of Nishikigoi. The business has now been taken over by the second generation, Mitsunori Isa. The company has been producing mainly Showa Sanshoku, Taisho Sanshoku, and Kohaku, which are called the “Gosanke” of Nishikigoi, and has won many competitions and awards. Currently, the company mainly produces Showa Sanshoku and Kohaku, and has earned a reputation for the beauty of the black pattern of Showa Sanshoku, called Sumi, which is so highly regarded that it is called “Isa Showa”.

伝統的な血統や飼育方法を守るだけでなく、品種の改良など特に大型の姿の美しさを追求するために他の追随を許さない研鑽を積んでいます。人の手と小千谷の豊かな自然が融合した時、山の雪解け水の池にのびのびと泳ぐ錦鯉の姿は「泳ぐ宝石」の呼び名に相応しい優雅さで私達の努力に報いてくれるのです。

Not only do we maintain traditional bloodlines and breeding methods, but we also make unparalleled efforts to improve our breeds and pursue the beauty of large-sized KOI in particular. When human hands and the rich nature of Ojiya are combined, KOI swimming freely in ponds filled with melted snow from the mountains reward our efforts with a graceful appearance worthy of the name “swimming jewels.

About Ojiya 小千谷について

「日本の至宝」を生み出す豊かな”豪雪の地”

新潟県小千谷市は新潟県のほぼ中央、越後平野の南端にあり山本山に代表される山間部との接点に位置しています。中越地方に属し南から信濃川が流れ込み市内は河岸段丘上にあり、日本有数の豪雪地帯としても知られ、その特性を活かした産業や名産品が多く存在します。
代表的なもののひとつに錦鯉の養殖業があり、世界各国に輸出されています。その他、ユネスコ無形文化遺産の小千谷縮の生産、牛の角突き、片貝の花火、小千谷へぎそばなど全国的にも知名度の高い文化、産業を数多く有しています。

Ojiya City in Niigata Prefecture is located in the center of Niigata Prefecture, at the southern end of the Echigo Plain and at the junction with the mountainous area represented by Mt. The city is located on a river terrace with the Shinano River flowing into the city from the south, and is also known as one of the snowiest areas in Japan. One of the representative products is Nishikigoi carp farming, which is exported to countries around the world. In addition, Ojiya has many other nationally recognized cultural and industrial products, such as the production of Ojiya Shrink, a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, bull horns, Katakai fireworks, and Ojiya hegisoba (buckwheat noodles).

ロゴマークの形態は二匹の錦鯉が伊佐養鯉場の「い」を形作っています。これは相対する「ふたつのもの」がほどよく調和している状態『陰陽和合』の考えに基づいています。違う価値観であってもお互いを助けあい、寄り添う文化、共存共栄の精神が日本にあります。その日本から生まれた美しい錦鯉を世界に届けたい。マークにはそんな思いが込められています。
